SPAIN COMEBACK TO BEAT CANANDA AND REACH THE QUATER-FINAL WITH A LUCÍA CORRALES ASSIST

Spain Under-20s Women reached the quarter-final of the World Cup after beating Canada 2-1. Lucía Corrales started while Lucía Moral came off the bench at half-time. 

Canada took the lead just after the hour mark through Florian Jourde, but two minutes later Corrales delivered a cross for Jone Amezaga to equalise, for her fourth assist of the tournament. In the 66th minute, Lucía Moral came on for Sara Ortega. 

The winner came 10 minutes from time as captain Silvia Lloris sealed the win to put Spain through to the quarter-finals where they will face either Japan or Nigeria at 1:00 CET on Sunday.
