Sevilla FC and Aleix Vidal have come to an agreement to rescind the player's contract. As such, the Catalan's second spell in the Andalusian capital comes to an end, leaving Sevilla FC with 87 games played in which he scored six goals, two of them in the second leg of the 2014/15 Europa League semi-final against Fiorentina.

Vidal landed in Seville for the 2014/15 season, coming from UD Almería. In his first campaign, he played 47 times under Unai Emery, winning the first title of his career in Warsaw with the Europa League, playing a key role in the success. His great performances led to a debut with the Spanish national team in a friendly against Costa Rica before he left for FC Barcelona.
