SERGI GÓMEZ: 'WE TRIED EVERYTHING'

Sergi Gómez reflected in the press area on tonight's painful defeat at home to Getafe: 'The overriding feeling is a bad one. It was not a good game and we also had bad luck in conceding a goal so early which affected us a lot. Getafe pressed well and I think that we could have played for hours without scoring. It was that kind of game.'

The Catalan defender believes that in the end, the psychological aspect made a difference: 'We tried everything but it just wouldn't go in. Being 2-0 down made everything very difficult. We now know fortunately that there is a match every three days and that is the best thing for us. There's no time for regrets but we have to correct our mistakes and keep moving forward because we now have a very intense month ahead of us.'
