Sergio Rico gave his verdict on the match: "The important thing is to help the team stay in the competition. It's a crucial point to start gaining momentum in the group stages. Everyone can see that this side can cause trouble, that we're strong and no team will beat us just like that."
He didn't deny there was room for improvement: "We have to improve a lot of things, but we're at the start of the season and the good thing is we've managed to get a point. In the second half you could see we were trying to make a comeback, play well and give a good account of ourselves. It meant we pressured more and the game changed."
On the opponents he recognised their strength and was happy to have stopped them winning: "They're a very strong side, with very dangerous counter-attacks, but we were able to defend them well at many points in the match. Muriel had a chance at the end when the defense was struggling but unfortunately it didn't go in, I'm sure the next one will."
