Sergio Rico, like his teammates, couldn't hide his happiness at eliminating Atlético Madrid in the quarter-finals of the Copa del Rey: "We're very happy. We can now relax but only a bit because we need to think about Sunday's game. I think they were favourites but Sevilla was there to show the strength and courage that makes us what we are. We've played a spectacular tie. The attitude of the team was magnificent and now we move forwards continuing to work and improving things".
A wonder save that stopped Atlético drawing level at 2-2 also undoubtedly helped: "I'm very happy on an individual level to have been able to help the team wherever possible. It would have been the 2-2 that got them back into the match but the important thing was to help the team. It always helps to do something well but I'm very happy and proud of this team - of how it's fought and the attitude it's had throughout the tie, as well as here".
