Last night, the round of 32 draw for the Copa del Rey was made, sealing the fate of all the Second Division and Third Division teams in the competition. The seven survivors will face one of the seven European teams of the Premier Division, of which Sevilla FC is one.
On this occasion, there will be no teams from the Third Division. The Nervionenses could play the same opponents as they did last year in SD Formentera, who overcame UD Logroñés - Sevilla's 15/16 opponent - in the last round. It should be remembered that the side was promoted this summer and now compete in Group III of the Segunda B Division.
The other possible opponents, all of whom compete in the Segunda B are as follows: SD Ponferradina and Fuenlabrada CF, Elche CF and Lleida Esportiu, as well as Real Murcia and FC Cartagena.
The round of 16 draw will take place next Thursday the 28th of September in the 'Ciudad de Fútbol de Las Rozas'.
