Sevilla FC complied with the tradition of the floral offering to the Virgen de los Reyes in Sevilla Cathedral. The board and first-team squad were in attendance, accompanied by the club's longest-serving members, with the first, Antonio García Guzmán, at the head.
As is tradition, Father Indalecio took the mass, vindicating in his mass Sevilla's right to dream about the sixth Europa League, adding that dreaming about it did not imply an obligation to win it.
Father Indalecio also welcomed Pablo Machín and his new coaching team and wished Sergio Escudero a quick recovery.
After the floral offering, all in attendance went to Robles for a meal.
