The XXI General Assembly of the European Football Clubs Association (ECA) took place this Monday and Tuesday in Split. Sevilla, one of the five Spanish clubs belonging to this prestigious organisation alongside Real Madrid, FC Barcelona, Atlético de Madrid and Valencia, was represented by the club's General Director, José María Cruz.
During the meeting, in which prizes were handed out to various clubs for the performances over the last season, ECA reiterated the need to play an active and constructive role in FIFA's decision-making process in the coming years.
As is also customary at this Assembly, the main issues addressed were related to the clubs' earnings and the distribution of television income, as well as Financial Fair Play and the international match calendar.
