It's a demanding schedule and Lopetegui has barely two sessions to prepare his team to face Villarreal on Sunday at the Ramón Sánchez-Pizjuán. For the first of those sessions, no more than were they off the plane, than they were back on the training pitch were they met with the ones who didn't travel to Cyprus for the Europa League fixture.
As is the usual case in these situations, those who played the night before had a brief cool down, and then went into the gym to do some recovery work. The rest of the squad, along with those that didn't travel, continued to work on the training pitch.
From there on, the tactical work of the session began, with Lopetegui being able to count on some players from Sevilla Atlético, as well as those ones who travelled with the squad for last night's fixture. Sevilla will train again, tomorrow morning, for the last session of the week; after which Julen Lopetegui will give his press conference.
