Preparations continue as Sunday's game against Rayo Vallecano draws closer. Montiel became the final player to return following the international break after he played for Argentina. Nemanja Gudelj trained fully with the group while Saúl Ñíguez completed team training for a second consecutive day. Tanguy Nianzou did not train after confirmation of his injury yesterday.
Former striker Iván Zamorano watched the session. The Chilean, who played for the club between 1990 and 1992 and scored 21 goals, was back in the city and took the chance to attend first-team training. He also met with a number of members of staff including Matías Morán and former teammate Juan Martagón.
