Bono returns to training with the team

BONO AND CARLOS FERNÁNDEZ RETURN TO TRAINING AFTER TESTING NEGATIVE FOR COVID-19

The goalkeeper and striker joined the rest of the team on Thursday morning

A bitter taste with in the mouth of the players this morning after last night's defeat to Chelsea FC in matchday 5 of the UEFA Champions League. It wasn't all bad this morning though, with the team being able to welcome Bono and Carlos Fernández back to training this Thursday morning. 

After the mandatory quarantine period had passed, both players had to wait until they both tested negative. They are now able to fully rejoin the group and be called upon by Julen Lopetegui.

The session was typical of post matchdays, with the group divided between last night's starters, who did recovery work, and the rest of the team, who trained out on the pitch. Tomorrow will be the last training session ahead of Saturday's important league game at home against Real Madrid.
