Sevilla FC will face Arsenal FCPSV Eindhoven and Racing Club Lens in Group B of the UEFA Champions League.

The draw was made this evening in Monaco, and pits José Luis Mendilibar's side against the runners-up of the Premier League, Eredivisie and Ligue 1.

Check out all the details about our rivals and the schedule ahead of our eleventh season in Europe's elite competition:

Arsenal FC (2nd, Premier League)

Mikel Arteta's side led the way for the majority of last season, but were overtaken late on by Manchester City. This season marks The Gunners' return to the Champions League after a six-year absence. Strangely enough, that absence came after a remarkable streak of qualifying for every tournament between the 1998/99 and 2016/17 seasons.

Their best performance in the tournament saw them reach the final in 2006, where they were defeated by FC Barcelona. We faced Arsenal in the Group Stage in 2007/08, with a 3-0 defeat in London and a 3-1 win at home.

PSV Eindhoven (2nd, Eredivisie)

Once again, we will return to the PSV Stadion in Eindhoven. Of course, this is the stadium where we broke our 58-year trophy drought with the UEFA Cup win in 2006. The first return to such an iconic stadium in the club's history was just six months ago, in the UEFA Europa League Knockout Play-Off Round. A 3-0 win at home in the first leg was enough to progress to the Round of 16, despite a 2-0 loss in Eindhoven.

PSV reached the Group Stage for the first time in five years after comfortably defeating Rangers on Wednesday night in the Play-Off Round. Unlike our other opponents, they have won this competition before, winning the European Cup in 1988 after a penalty shoot-out against Benfica.

RC Lens (2nd, Ligue 1)

Our final opponents have an even longer spell without reaching the Group Stage, as their last participation was in the 2002/03 season. Lens finished third in the group that season, behind AC Milan and RC Deportivo, but ahead of Bayern Munich. Their last season in Europe was in 2007/08, but they fell in the UEFA Cup First Round against Copenhagen.

Interestingly, the Ligue 1 runners-up will be our 100th opponent in European competition, and our fifth French opponents after OSC Lille, PSG, Olympique Lyonnais and Stade Rennais.
