URUGUAYAN FELIPE CARBALLO REINFORCES AFFILIATE SQUAD

Sevilla Atlético have made movements in the final hours of the market, signing centre-midfielder Felipe Ignacio Carballo Ares. The player, who is known for his mobility and finishing, joins from Club Nacional de Montevideo. At just 20 years old, he has played 22 matches in the Uruguayan championship and has made 11 appearances at continental level in South America. Before that, he had made 141 appearances at a less senior level, scoring 17 goals.

Carballo signs for five seasons with Sevilla FC, a contract which takes him to the 30^th of June, 2022. An U-17 and U-19 international, he will now play his football in Europe, joining the affiliate squad which is also the home of compatriot Cristian González.
