Last Friday night was a special one at the Ramón Sánchez-Pizjuán, hosting a tribute event for the legendary rock band Queen. With candles being the only source of light, Totem Ensemble's quintet filled the stadium with magic, playing the music of one of the most famous bands in history.
Approximately 350 people attended the Preferencia stand to enjoy the music. Famous songs such as Bohemian Rhapsody, Don't stop me now, We will rock you, I want to break free and The show must go on were played, as well as We are the champions, much to the delight of the audience, given the song's connection to football and sports.
These types of concerts are very common around the area, but the organising company, 'Fever Up', wanted to raise the bar for this one and chose the Sánchez-Pizjuán as the venue. The spectacle finished with a welcomed surprise - an interpretation of our club anthem. A great end to a great night!
