Cristian Toro spoke to the media ahead of the match against Real Sociedad. Having won last time out against Granada, he said "it's good to come into a match on the back of a victory, but it's important that we keep up the positive results. We've been working hard in training to try to make sure that this is the case. We are playing a team in a similar league position to us, but all ten of their points have come at home - three wins and a draw. They suffered a heavy defeat against Real Madrid, but we know that they are a very decent team. It will be a tough battle both with and without the ball. They are a direct team and will cause us problems, we'll need to be alert defensively. That is the key."
Asked about this fixture last season, in which Sevilla FC Women won comfortably, he indicated that there may be similarities, but ultimately it is a different game. "We can't use it as a reference for this game. There could be similar moments but it is a new game, a different game. Every game of football is different. What is important for us is that we are the ones controlling the play. They are a team that compete well, especially at home, but we will look for another victory. It won't be an easy game, but we are ready."
Finally, Toro discussed the Copa de la Reina round of 16 draw, in which his side will face FC Levante Las Planas. "There's a lot of time until that match but of course we will want to win. However they are a good side and it is a tough place to go. The cup is different, it is one game and it all comes down to the day. We hope that we will be the best version of ourselves when that time comes. But for now we need to focus on improving and maintaining good form."
