During this first half of the season, each team has been battling it out, shaping the LaLiga table week by week. Another league table monitored by the organisation is that concerning the ratings that track which teams are the most followed on a weekly basis. At the end of each matchday, Barlovento Comunicación - an audiovisual and digital consultancy firm specialising in television audiences, programming and content - and one of the country's leading audience research agencies, carry out a weekly analysis of the audiences for LaLiga matches.

With the results of the last matchday of 2024 yet to be published, we currently lead the ranking of total unique viewers with 7.9 million. In other words, almost 8 million different viewers have watched at least one of our league matches. We are followed by RC Celta, in second place with 7.04 million, and FC Barcelona, in third place with a total of 6.7 million. Real Madrid (6.6 million), Villareal CF (6.2 million) and CA Osasuna (6 million) also surpassed the six million mark.

In terms of the average number of unique spectators per match, another of the metrics tracked by Barlovento Comunicación in its report, we come third in the ranking, only beaten by Real Madrid and FC Barcelona. Real Madrid have a total of 1.5 million spectators on average per match and FC Barcelona 1.4 million, with an average of 1.1 million viewers per match.

After the figures for Matchday 18, in which Sevilla FC visited the Bernabéu in one of the most watched matches of the weekend, the focus will shift onto continuing to grow our fanbase in 2025.
