After Wednesday's training session, Juanlu Sánchez took questions from the press on the game against RC Celta in Vigo this Saturday. "We know the responsibility that comes with playing with the Sevilla crest on our chest, we are professionals and we are trying to move forward. We give everything day by day, it's time to be more united than ever and to summon up the courage and rage to move forward‘, said Juanlu, who knows that this Saturday there are three key points at stake: ’We're not looking at the calendar, only at Saturday because it's the most important game of the season, a perfect opportunity to show that we really care about the situation we find ourselves in."

As a Sevillista and a player trained in the youth academy, Juanlu wanted to send a message of commitment from the squad: "This situation hurts not only those of us who are from here, but also those from abroad. We are hurt because these fans and this crest deserve something better. I grew up watching trophy winning sides, and nobody wants to see Sevilla like this right now, although for me it's still a dream to play for Sevilla, I've never considered leaving". He wanted to support Isaac Romero, who found the net in the last game after a bad run of form: "He knows he has the support of the whole dressing room, he brings a lot to the team, beyond the goals. He has a strong connection with the club and wants to win, we all have a lot of confidence in him'.

Versatility is one of Juanlu's strengths, something that he takes in his stride, ready to continue growing under the guidance of Joaquín Caparrós: "Caparrós always helps us, especially the youngsters. He exudes Sevillismo, which is important at the moment, but he also demands a lot from us, the maximum from each one of us. I'm ready to play wherever they put me, as an 8 from 10.... but it's true that I feel more comfortable on the right wing."
