In front of more than 1,000 fans, Sevilla Atlético secured a dramatic win against RB Linense at the Estadio Jesús Navas. Fran Carbiá had given the visitors the lead halfway through the second half before late goals from Ibra and Ramón Martínez turned the game on its head and gave the reserves three important points, stretching their lead at the top of the Segunda RFEF league.
After Rivera picked up an injury in the warm up, Jesús Galván was forced into making a late change to the starting XI, with Joao Daniel the man picked to take Rivera's place. In a goalless first half, Sevilla Atlético had the better of the chances. The first real moment of danger came through Xavi Sintes. Zarzana's cross to the back post found Darío, who did well to lay the ball off to Sintes, but he could only shoot straight at RB Linense goalkeeper Ackerman.
At the midway point of the first half, Musa managed to create some space for himself inside the box and released a powerful effort towards the near post. Ackerman saved well, tipping the ball onto the post to keep the scores level. Zarzana and Capi both tried their luck from distance, but could not find a way past the keeper. The teams entered the break with the deadlock yet to be broken, but a sour taste in the Sevilla Atlético mouths as Oso was forced off with an injury. Sergio came on to replace him.
At the start of the second half, Manu Bueno let fly from distance, and would have found the top corner had it not been for a great Ackerman save. The reserves began to take control of the game but struggled to break down the stubborn RB Linense defence. Despite the Sevilla Atlético dominance, it was the away side that took the lead, through Fran Carbiá in the 69th minute. He raced clear before beating Alberto Flores in a one-on-one situation, sliding the ball through Flores's legs.
Ibra and Ramón Martínez scored late on to complete a dramatic comeback
A deserved equaliser was found in the 83rd minute with Ibra scoring having come off the bench. Darío's cross from the right-hand side found Ibra in the box, who controlled brilliantly to beat his man before poking the ball into the back of the net. But a draw was clearly not enough for Jesús Galván as his side continued to pile forward in the search of a winner. In the 89th minute, Ramón Martínez rose highest to head home from a corner and secure all three points in dramatic fashion. Victory takes Sevilla Atlético seven points clear at the top of the table, although second-placed Yeclano Deportivo are yet to play their match this week.
