José Luis Mendilibar, Sevilla FC manager, had the following take on Sunday night's victory against UD Las Palmas: "It was a difficult game. We started well in the first fifteen minutes but from that point on they dominated the ball despite not creating many chances. The second half was open and ebbed and flowed until the opener. It was back and forth until we scored but then we froze slightly. The game got easier for us but we were rushed and lacked composure meaning we strayed offside."
"Ramos and Lukebakio need to adapt more to our style of play. They played well but we need to adapt to eachother. We had more of the ball in the opposition half than our own. Dodi scored the winner and had another good move but defensively needs to give us a lot more. Everyone needs to contribute in defence, that applies to forwards as well as defenders," he continued.
The boss finished by addressing our upcoming Champions league tie: "We can already hear the anthem and we can't wait. I hope we are calm and use it to our advantage in the coming game against RC Lens."
