Jesús Navas, Lucien Agoumé, Marcos Acuña and Lucas Ocampos all spoke after Sunday night's home victory over Granada CF. The first to talk with us was the captain, who emphasised the importance of the victory: "It's been a difficult year in terms of picking up points, but now it feels like we're playing with much more confidence. The manager is getting the most out of the squad. It's been a tough season, especially for those of us who have been here a long time, but now we're more together as a unit. We have lots of quality and keeping clean sheets is key to our current form."
Agoumé was also quick to praise the team for improving performances: "Today we played really well in both defence and attack. We're working really hard in training and it showed in tonight's performance. On a personal level, I'm feeling much better after my injury and hoping we can finish the season as strongly as possible."
Goal scorer Acuña also commented on his performance: "We knew what we had to do from the start. Of course I'm happy with the goal, but we always try to do whatever we can to help the team out in any area of the pitch. What is important is that we continue believing in ourselves and working our socks off on the pitch. Finally, Ocampos expressed his happiness with the display: "We needed a day like, both for ourselves and for the fans. It puts us in the right frame of mind ahead of an important few weeks, so we go into next week feeling composed, but with lots of energy."
