PEDROSA: "WE WERE CLEARLY THE BETTER SIDE, BUT THE FINER DETAILS SEEM TO BE GOING AGAINST US"

Adrià Pedrosa and Marko Dmitrovic spoke to the media following the defeat against RCD Mallorca. Pedrosa, having played a key part in the goal that was disallowed, said "initially I thought it flicked off his [En-Nesyri's] back, but realistically, where can he put his hand? The finer details seem to be going against us. We are trying our best to win, but these little details make the difference between a win and a loss. We were the better side again tonight, but things did not go our way, again. What I can say is that we will always give it our all. But there's no time to rest, we go again on Tuesday with the intention of winning. The fans don't deserve this."

Dmitrovic also spoke, stating "We did everything in our power to win today, but the result is another tough defeat. I'll be honest with you, it hurts, but we can't let ourselves get down about this because we have another massive game in three days' time. They got a little bit lucky with the bounce of the ball for their goal, but these little details are often the difference in games. We have to defend with more passion. As players, we are all our biggest critics and we know that we weren't good enough today, but we will not give up. But no matter how well you play, having decision go against you won't help. The VAR has to do better, it is not helping the referees. I always respect the referees and their decisions, but if you delay the game by 7-8 minutes to have a look through all the slo-mo angles, something's wrong. That is not football. Football is the best game in the world but the misuse of technology is ruining it."
