SEVILLA FC RETURN TO THE TOP 30 CLUBS IN THE WORLD IN THE IFFHS 2023 RANKINGS

The International Federation of Football History and Statistics (IFFHS), the body who ranked us as the best team in the world in 2006 and 2007, has placed us as among the top 30 clubs in the world for the first time in 3 years. That is six positions higher than last year, with the body awarding 177.5 to the team .

This comes following our seventh UEFA Europa League triumph at the end of last season, overtaking Sporting de Portugal, Sporting de Braga, Botafogo, Corinthians, PSG, Independiente del Valle and AZ Alkmaar. We are also the only Spanish club in the top 30 besides Real Madrid and FC Barcelona, who placed 2nd and 23rd respectively, woth only six Spanish clubs making the top 100.
