We are continually committed to engaging with our international community, and this Tuesday, Sevilla FC joined in celebrations for China Week 2024, the Chinese cultural week organised by the Sevilla City Council, and its Culture and Tourism department. Alongside the Association of Chinese Businessmen of Andalusia, the club hosted a table tennis tournament for children from the local Chinese community at the Ramón Sánchez-Pizjuán stadium.

Club President, José María del Nido Carrasco, was present at the event, along with the President of the Association of Chinese Businessmen of Andalusia, Lin Ke, and the Director General of Tourism of the Sevilla City Council, Juanjo Domínguez.

‘For Sevilla FC, it is an honour to organise this tournament for the Chinese community in our stadium. On an international level, China is one of our key markets and we want to highlight what unites us with their culture,’ said our president.

The table tennis tournament was attended by 50 children from the local Chinese community in Seville, including players and spectators, and the winners of the tournament were able to play a final match against the men's and women's first team players, Nemanja Gudelj and Gemma Gil.
