A total of ten of our players have been called up by their respective national teams ahead of the upcoming March international break and they are involved across a range of games including 2026 World Cup qualifiers, UEFA Nations League games and friendlies.
Our first player involved will be Dodi Luekbakio as Belgium take on Ukraine in a UEFA Nations League play-off. In Rudi Garcia's first game in charge of the Red Devils, they will look to avoid relegation to League B with the first leg on Thursday 20 March at 20:45 CET at the Estadio Enrique Roca in Murcia, as it is unable to be played in Ukraine. The second leg will take place three days later on Sunday 23 March at the same time at the Cegeka Arena Stadium in Genk.
Nemanja Gudelj's Serbia are also involved in a UEFA Nations League play-off against Austria. After finishing third in UEFA Nations League A Group 4, Serbia will play their first leg away from home at the Ernst-Happel-Stadion in Vienna on Thursday 20 March at 20:45 CET. The second leg will then take place at 18:00 CET on Sunday 23 March at the Stadion Rajko Mitić. Meanwhile, Ørjan Nyland has been included in Norway's squad for their 2026 World Cup qualifiers. On Saturday 22 March, they face Moldova at the Stadionul Zimbru at 18:00 CET. Three days later Ståle Solbakken's side will then travel to Hungary to face Israel at the Nagyerdei Stadion in Debrecen.
Belgium and Serbia will be looking to avoid relegation in the UEFA Nations League, while Norway get their 2026 World Cup qualification campaign underway
On Friday, March 21, the first of Switzerland's two friendly matches will take place. With Rubén Vargas and Djibril Sow both in the squad, the Swiss will face Northern Ireland at 20:45 CET at Windsor Park in Belfast. Four days later, in the Swiss city of Saint Gallen, they will host Luxembourg at the same time at the AFG Arena. Spain Under-21s have included Kike Salas, Juanlu and Carmona in their squad for the international break. They will play against the Czech Republic on Friday, March 21, in Murcia at 19:30 CET at the Estadio Francisco Artes Carrasco. Santi Denia's squad will then travel to Germany to face Germany Under-21s in Darmstadt on Tuesday at 20:30 CET.
To round off the international break, Belgium Under-21s and France Under-21s are set to play friendly matches. With Idumbo in the squad, Belgium will face Sweden Under-21s in Valencia on Friday March 21 at 16:00 at the Oliva Nova Golf & Beach Resort. The same venue will then play host to their second friendly of the international break against Andorra Under-21s with the kick off time still to be confirmed. Finally, Lucien Agoumé will be involved for France Under-21s against England Under-21s at the Stade du Moustoir in Lorient at 21:00 CET on Saturday, March 21. Three days later at 18:30 CET, they will face Slovakia in Trnava.
