The International Federation of Football History & Statistics (IFFHS) have published their annual rankings of the best women's football teams in the world. The rankings reflect each team's performance over the past 12 months and contextualise each result based on difficulty and prestige. Sevilla FC Women have been ranked the 53rd best team in the world, 11 places higher than last year and level on points with Hoffenheim. It also sees them maintain their position as the sixth best team in Spain.
According to the IFFHS data, Cristian Toro's side have accumulated 165 points, three behind teams such as Sporting Club in Portugal and Rosenborg BK in Norway, who are in 49th place. Other Liga F teams have made the top 100 include Costa Adeje Tenerife and Athletic Club in 70th position, Real Sociedad in 86th and Valencia CF in 96th.
