During his farewell ceremony at the Ramón Sánchez-Pizjuán, Jesus Navas received one of the best surprises that he has surely had during his last weeks as a professional footballer. Our captain has been awarded a place in the club's Hall of Fame - the highest distinction awarded by the club to a former player, thus joining the select group that includes Juan Arza, José María Busto, Marcelo Campanal, Ignacio Achucarro, Antonio Valero, Paco Gallego, Enrique Lora, Curro Sanjosé, Antonio Álvarez, Enrique Montero, Pablo Blanco and Juan Carlos Unzué. Navas will become the 14th player to be inducted. In addition, at the next General Shareholders' Meeting, the awarding of the gold and diamond awards will be put to a vote.

He reached 516 appearances in LALIGA since his debut against RCD Espanyol on November 23, 2003, placing him tenth in the all-time list - just behind Lionel Messi (520). In the Copa del Rey he played 68 matches and in the Spanish Super Cup he made a total of five appearances. In Europe, he made 47 appearances in the Champions League, 65 in the Europa League and four in the European Super Cup.

All these appearances led to the most trophies won by a player in the club's history with eight in total - four UEFA Europa Leagues, two Copa del Reys, one European Super Cup and one Spanish Super Cup. For the Spanish national team, he is also the most successful player of all time with four international titles - one World Cup, two European Championships and one UEFA Nations League.
