AGOUMÉ: "RETURNING WAS MY DREAM AND TODAY I AM VERY HAPPY TO BE HERE ONCE AGAIN"

Lucien Agoumé, our sixth signing of the summer window, was officially unveiled alongside Iheanacho on Tuesday. The French midfielder was happy to fulfil the dream of returning to Nervión: "For me it's the best decision. Thinking about it with my family and my people, we decided that this was the best decision. Last year I was here for six months and I met some very good people. I want to thank the president and Víctor Orta for their trust. Coming back was my dream and today I am very happy to be here again. " 

Agoumé reinforced that Sevilla was the first and only option: "It was an easy month for me because I already knew that the one thing I wanted was to return to Sevilla. Inter already knew that. The President and Víctor Orta knew that and the only thing that had to be done was just to wait. In my mind, I was only thinking about Sevilla." 

"I have spoken with many of my teammates and they have said how excited they are to work with the new coach. He has bought a more possession-based style, more attacking football and goals. I want to see what we can do this season. I can't wait to get started with the group and get to know the coach. I am excited to see what he wants from me on the pitch," he continued. 

Joking about supporting his fellow Frenchman ahead of the final of the Olympic Games at Paris 2024, Agoumé wished both Loïc and Junalu luck in the battle for the gold medal: "I spoke with Junalu and Loïc. Juanlu scored a fantastic goal. I am very happy for them, I am looking forward to them being back."
