LUKEBAKIO: "TODAY THE MENTALITY OF THE TEAM WAS GOOD AND I THINK WE DESERVED TO WIN"

Peque, Lukebakio and Carmona spoke after the draw against CA Osasuna in Nervión. Peque was the first to speak and commented on the feelings within the group after another home match at the Ramón Sánchez–Pizjuán "It''s a bittersweet result, I think we deserve more. We lacked that clinical edge in the final third and we have to continue improving. The reaction after conceding was good, and we have to keep working to improve that mental strength. A draw is not enough and we have to continue working hard for better results to come. Personally, I think I played well. I have to improve, I want to help the team as much as I can, and that is what we are doing. We always want to win, today you could see a team united and that is always what we have to have. That is the only way that results come."  

Goalscorer Dodi Lukebakio was happy with the character of the team "I am very happy but I think we deserved to win but that is football and we have to continue. We played very well today, the mentality was very good but this is football and the fine details are important. Today the most important thing is that we didn't lose. The cup is important now and we are now focusing on that.

To finish, José Ángel Carmona also spoke about feeling on another day it could have been three points: "I think we deserved more. We were on the front foot, they didn't threaten, and with one chance they scored a goal out of nothing. We had the character to score the equaliser quickly and after that, we had chances, including in the last minute from Dodi. We are not focusing on the result but the performance of the team that will allow us to pick up more results."
