Suso was the Sevilla FC player in the hot seat at A Balón Parado this week. The man from Cadiz, who still finds himself in the midst of recovering from the serious ankle injury he suffered many months ago, was seen to be very optimistic about his return before the end of this current season: "I am much better. I can't say when I am going to be back because already the last two times I had relapses while dates were being set, but I know I am going to be back playing this season. After all these months out, my desire is immeasurable."

"When I got injured, the expected return time was more than four months. I still didn't see any improvement two weeks ago. Now, I feel much better. If my ankle is better, I'll be there to play. You know how good you feel when you're in training. Today I started to jump and, despite the niggles, I am feeling better. The feeling of being reminded that you're a footballer, the well-watered pitch, the ball...you miss it. I depend on playing," he added.

The Sevilla winger wanted to highlight the support of all his teammates as well: "It has been the thing that has surprised me the most. The closeness of the whole team, both teammates and the coaching staff, has been incredible. It's obvious that over these last two years the main factor behind the club's success has been the group. I've been in great teams with top class players, but this group stands out from the rest. They've all wrote messages to me and supported me from day one. For example in the match against Athletic Bilbao, I didn't expected the thing with the shirt. Seeing it on TV... it's something that fills you with joy, fills you with desire to return. Moreover, after the win, they sent me loads of videos from the changing rooms. It was something beautiful."
