Thomas Delaney played 24 minutes in Denmark's friendly defeat against the Netherlands away from home (4-2). The Danish coach Kasper Hjulmand, picked the Sevilla midfielder from the start but he had to replace him with Nörgaard due to injury.

In terms of the sporting action, Denmark's defeat had the one positive of the goal for midfielder Christian Eriksen, who two minutes after coming on scored the second goal for the visitors, in a very emotional moment after everything he has overcome recently.
