Klára Cahynová has been called up by the Czech Republic for another game against Iceland in qualification for the 2023 World Cup in Australia and New Zealand. The Czech coach Karel Rada has called up the Sevilla midfielder for the game which will be played on Tuesday 12th April at 17:30 in the city of Teplice.
It is worth highlighting that the team find themselves in third place in Group C. Iceland themselves are in second place, four points ahead of Rada's team, meaning it's vital for them to get a positive result on their path to the World Cup. The first meeting between the two sides in qualification was back in October 2021, which left a bitter taste for the Sevilla player on that occasion with a one-goal defeat.
Cahynová, who has played 24 games in total in the league and cup since her arrival to Sevilla FC last summer, will depart on Thursday 7th April and will return a couple of days after the game.
