The Antonio Coimbra da Mota stadium, in the Portuguese city of Estoril, played host to last month's third face-to-face European project meeting BITEFIX, in which The Sevilla FC Foundation is working alongside seven other joint members. The mission is non other than the search for innovative measures that facilitate methods of communication between different private and public entities related with match-fixing and fraud in sporting competitions. The meeting, with José Viñas present on behalf of Sevilla FC, took off with addressing the Guide to Good Practices and the layout of a programme of education, as well as the implementation of beginner's courses.

The project focuses on raising awareness and aims to offer basic training and education to any interested sporting entity, contributing to the business objectives of the European Union of solidarity and prosperity in sport. Co-financed by ERASMUS + Sport of the European Union and headed by the International Centre of Sporting Security (ICSS), along with The Sevilla FC Foundation and seven other members: Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne University (Francia), ISCTE – Associação ISCTE Conhecimento e Inovação (Portugal), Calcio Servizi Lega Pro Srl / Lega Italiana Calcio Professionistico (Italy), Starlizard Integrity Services (United Kingdom), HAŠK Mladost (Croatia), and Grupo Desportivo Estoril Praia (Portugal).
