KOUNDÉ AND ACUÑA INCLUDED IN THE EA SPORTS LALIGA TEAM OF THE SEASON

Both EA Sports and LaLiga released which players had made it into the FIFA 22 Team Of The Season (TOTS), with the inclusion of two Sevilla FC players. Koundé and Acuña have been named between the 15 man squad as one of the best centre-backs and one of the best full-backs in the league, respectively. The players (Koundé and Acuña) received this award for the first time. The award is based on their performance over the course of the season and under the model EA Sports uses to reward the best weekly players (TOTW).

The 15 best players of the season have been chosen by popular vote as well as votes from players via the Players App and the expert committee of renowned journalists. This is how the LaLiga Team Of The Season looks: Courtois, Militão, Araújo, Alaba, Koundé; Modrić, Pedri, Fekir; Benzema, Vinicius, João Félix; Acuña, Canales, Raúl de Tomás and Iker Muniain.
