Alex Telles was the player who spoke alongside Jorge Sampaoli at the pre-match press conference on the eve of the visit of FC Copenhagen.
The Brazilian began by stating that "the group is totally focused, we know how important tomorrow's match is, we're playing at our stadium in front of our fans. We're working hard to get the win and tomorrow we'll be all set to get the three points."
Although Telles is fully aware of just how crucial the match is, he played down the importance of the clash.
"Every match is important. We're always thinking about the next one. The last one has already passed and once we've played this one, the next one is the most important."
"We only have to think on tomorrow's one and it's crucial. Copenhagen have quality players. We have to be ready for every difficulty, but we feel very comfortable at home and we'll give it our all to win."
Whether he is deployed as a full-back or a winger, he's keen to help.
"I've played in two positions and I only focus on giving my all, wherever the manager wants me to play. I have to adapt as quickly as possible to what he needs of me and I only want to be ready for that."
To finish, he spoke about the team's form.
"No player wants to be involved in a situation like this at a club like Sevilla. We know the club's objectives and we players have to change it. These things happen in football but we have to be intelligent, work hard and focus on what will happen so we can enjoy ourselves once again."
