DOLBERG COMES OFF THE BENCH IN DENMARK'S DEFEAT AGAINST AUSTRALIA

Denmark have been knocked out of the FIFA World Cup at the first hurdle, after a 1-0 defeat against Australia.

Kasper Dolberg came off the bench in the 59th minute, replacing Braithwaite. However, a minute after the substitution, Australia scored the only goal of the game. The striker nearly won a penalty for the Danes, but an offside earlier in the move meant that it was not awarded.

As for Thomas Delaney, he missed out due to an injury he picked up in Denmark's first match at the tournament.
