JOSÉ ÁNGEL CARMONA JOINS ELCHE CF ON LOAN UNTIL THE END OF THE SEASON

Sevilla FC and Elche CF have reached an agreement, which will see José Ángel Carmona join Elche on loan until the end of the season. Elche have an option to sign the young defender.

José Ángel has made fifteen appearances for the first team this season, scoring two goals and setting up another, all of which came in the first half of a 3-2 win away at RCD Espanyol in September.

The youngster came through our academy and made his official debut last year on 13th March away at Rayo Vallecano, before making his European debut four days later against West Ham United at the London Stadium.

This season, despite being registered for the reserve team, he has made the step up to the first team, and has featured in ten LaLiga Santander matches and a further five in the UEFA Champions League. He also made his debut for Spain U21 in November in a friendly against Japan at La Cartuja.
