CAHYNOVÁ: "I’M JUST PROUD OF EVERY SINGLE PERSON WHO WAS ON THE FIELD TODAY"

Klára Cahynová discussed Sevilla FC Women's victory over Madrid CFF with Official Media at the Estadio Jesús Navas. 

The game finished 4-2, and Cahynová remarked that she was "proud of every single person who was on the field today". "I think we played really well, we played as a team, we needed that win."

Despite centre-back Nazareth Martín being shown a second yellow card just after the hour mark which saw the hosts reduced to ten players, Cahynová remained "confident in my teammates" and that the side would still win the match: "we were winning, we were doing a good job and everyone was fighting."

The Czech central midfielder is looking forward to having a "rest because we have had a hard week with three games". She described how her teammates "have to take it game by game now, we are not looking ahead" and just "want to win the following game".

"I am sure if we play like we did today, there will be a good chance that we keep getting the three points." She hopes that this will mean Sevilla FC are able "to get the points that we missed in the first half of the season".
