ANTONIO HIDALGO: "WE HAVE GOT TO LIFT THE LADS UP, THEY PUT IN A LOT OF EFFORT TODAY"

The manager for Sevilla Atlético, Antonio Hidalgo, analysed his team's performance against Atlético Sanluqueño in front of the club's media: "It is difficult to assess the performance straight away, because all we want is to win. At the end of the day, it was one of our best performances when we had the ball. We dealt with various situations well but weren't able to hurt our opponent. In the second half we had some good moments. We lacked the legs and by the end of the game, the boys were knackered."

Hidalgo also lamented the lack of a clinical edge when his players had opportunities to score: "I don't know how many times we have lost one-nil. This game is all about scoring goals and at the minute we are not doing this. With the ball we were better than we are at home. The other day we rose to the occasion but today we did not. There is nothing we can do apart from looking forward. An analysis is going to do very little now."

"We have got to lift the lads up, they put in a lot of effort today. We are suffering from wasted opportunities in the opposition's box. The important thing is to win and today we did not do that", added the coach.
