The Vice-President of Finetwork Liga F, Rubén Alcaine, visited the Ciudad Deportiva José Ramón Cisneros Palacios on Thursday. During the visit where he was accompanied by adviser Luis Castro, the man from Aragon was interested primarily by the club's sustainability strategy. Following this, Castro and the Director of Women's Football Amparo Gutiérrez showed him the club's facilities, focusing on what the Women's side has access to on a day-to-day basis.
Once the visit was finished and the gift had been handed over, Alcaine showed how much he valued his visit: "I am delighted and pleasantly surprised by the facilites here and I am left extremely content by the way the club views women's football. At Liga F, we want this to be replicated across the country and that other clubs reach the standard that you are setting here. I have had the opportunity to see the facilites here and this is an example at a national level."
As a result, he valued the club's efforts to provide the same facilites for the Women's side as it does for the Men: "You can see that the treatment for both teams is exactly the same. When they arrive, the female players warm up in their own gyms, play on their own pitches, listen to their own coaching team... the arrangement, the media that the club has in place... very few clubs in this league can say that they reach the same level in these areas and that is what we want to encourage. The club's involvement in the women's game really is praiseworthy".
