The Match
Sevilla FC vs Manchester United, in the second leg of the UEFA Europa League Quarter Finals. Kick-off at a sell-out Ramón Sánchez-Pizjuán is scheduled for 21:00 CEST.
Matchday Squads
José Luis Mendilibar has named a 21-man squad for the clash. As for the visitors, Varane, Lisandro and Garnacho are injured, while Bruno Fernandes is out due to a one-match suspension.
Opponents' Form
Last weekend's win away at Nottingham Forest means that the Red Devils move back into third place in the Premier League. They also have an FA Cup Semi Final at Wembley on Sunday, against Brighton and Hove Albion.
Stat
This is United's fourth visit to Andalucía for an official match. In the last round, barely a month ago, they ran out 1-0 winners against Real Betis, while their UEL Quarter Final in the 2020/21 season brought a 2-0 success against Granada CF. However, their only match at the Ramón Sánchez-Pizjuán, in the 2017/18 UEFA Champions League Round of 16, was a goalless draw, which preceded a 2-1 win for us at Old Trafford in the return leg.
Referee
Portuguese official Artur Dias will take charge of tonight's clash. This will be his third match in Nervión, following on from a 2-1 win against Spartak Moscow in 2017 and a 4-0 defeat against Chelsea in 2020, both matches coming in the UEFA Champions League Group Stages. As for the visitors, he will once again referee an away match in the UEFA Europa League, following on from a 2-1 defeat against FC Midtjylland in 2016, a 5-0 win against LASK Linz in 2020, and the aforementioned victory in Granada two years ago.
