Loïc Badé experienced, without doubt, a night on Wednesday that will live long in the memory. Having won the UEFA Europa League with Sevilla FC, he would then be called up to the France Under-21 squad for the European Championships.
Coach Sylvain Ripoll included the Sevilla centre back in the squad for the Euros that will be played in Georgia and Romania between June 21st and July 8th. In the group stage, the French will face Italy, Norway and Switzerland in the Cluj Arena, in Cluj-Napoca. This is before the team flies to Romania to play a friendly against Mexico in the Stade des Alpes in Grenoble on June 16th.
