Three current Sevilla players took part in Tuesday's senior international fixtures, the last ones of the month.
Nemanja Gudelj played 90 minutes at centre back for Serbia in their 1-1 draw away at Bulgaria, with Lazovic scoring a 97th minute equaliser. Despite this, Serbia are no longer top of their UEFA EURO 2024 qualifying group, though they are level on points with leaders Hungary.
Alex Telles and Pape Gueye faced off in a six-goal thriller between Brazil and Senegal in a friendly at the José Alvalade in Lisbon. They were on the pitch together for nine minutes, with Telles coming on as a 74th-minute substitute and Pape coming off in the 83rd minute. Brazil took the lead early on before Senegal turned the match on its head, leading 3-1. The South Americans did pull one back, but a stoppage-time penalty from Sadio Mané confirmed a 4-2 for Senegal.
The only player left in the squad who is still on international duty is Loïc Badé, who is in the France U21 squad for the U21 EURO. The opener is on Thursday against Italy in Cluj. The remaining fixtures against Norway and Switzerland will take place on Sunday and Wednesday respectively.
