Sevilla FC, alongside 14 LALIGA EA SPORTS clubs, have reached an agreement to establish new rules for away ticket prices and allocations in the league.
Away ticket prices will be capped at a maximum price of 30€ and the minimum away allocation has been set at 300 tickets.
The agreement, which has been reached thanks to Sevilla FC along with four other LALIGA clubs, satisfies the concerns of the club's Board of Directors, as well as those of fan advocacy group Accionistas Unidos, who expressed to the club the idea of promoting more attractive conditions for Sevilla fans who travel to away matches.
Club President José Castro highlighted the importance of the agreement: "At Sevilla FC we know all about it. We have been welcoming fans from all over Europe for more than 20 years, and throughout these 20 years we know this, we are familiar with this and it is extraordinary that away fans come. Those fans create a positive impact on the city at all levels. The impact the city receives from those fans is very important and it is something to take into account."
Óscar Mayo, LALIGA executive director, is also pleased with the initiative: "We are proud to be able to inaugurate this new brand with this agreement. Facilitating and promoting sports tourism is one of LALIGA's main motivations, and to be able to take this agreement to the top flight is a privilege and an exciting prospect. Today there are 15 clubs, we hope that in the future there will be 20."
