Djbril Sow spoke to the media as he was unveiled as a Sevilla FC player on Tuesday.
Accompanied by President José Castro and Sporting Director Víctor Orta, the midfielder began by speaking about how he's felt since his arrival last week. "My first impression of the match was really good and I've been welcomed very well, we've all got on well."
The Swiss international then discussed his style of play and his strengths: "I'm fully aware of my qualities, I'm a team player and I'll give my all so the team is successful. I'm willing to run and contribute my intelligence and that will be seen in the games. I'm not a player who is going to score 10 goals, but I'm going to work hard for the team to achieve success."
"I'm normally a centre midfielder, I'm both defensive and attacking and I think I fit in very well with the team's style of play."
Sow is optimistic about settling in: "I hope I can adapt quickly. I think I fit in really well with this team. I'll need a bit of time to get on board with the team and manager's philosophy, but I'm happy."
He then commented on his decision to join the club: "I had contact with the club and I saw there was a real interest. This is a club with great potential and character, I wanted to take on this challenge. I want to do my bit to make the club even more successful."
To finish, he spoke about moving to a new city: "Unfortunately I haven't had time yet to get to know the city yet, but I've spoken to people and they all love the city. It's a great place where you can enjoy life and football."
