"A significant number of players have left Valencia compared to last season, and they have a lot of young players. They are daring and press high up the field," he emphasized.

Coach José Luis Mendilibar spoke at the midday press conference earlier today prior to the match that will kick off LaLiga, as we host Valencia CF at the Ramón Sánchez-Pizjuán at 10:00 PM tomorrow.  He began by highlighting, "I believe we are in good shape and feeling good. The tour and these four days of training have been good. We covered a lot of kilometers, but in the United States, we were very well organized despite the time zone changes. We are prepared to try to win the first La Liga match. We are only thinking about tomorrow, nothing else."

"A significant number of players have left Valencia compared to last season, and they have a lot of young players. They are daring and press high up the field like us. They've done well in pre-season with their coaches style."

"We want to execute a similar plan to that of last season; it worked well for us."

Mendilibar was asked about his team's idea for this year: "We want to follow a similar plan to last season; it worked well for us, and in that regard, we shouldn't change. Pressing high, playing in the opponent's half, spending more time there than here... Being direct when we need to be, and so on. The concept and mindset haven't changed, and I hope the players don't get confused with doing something different."

"Both Marcao and Tanguy are injured, and we hope that once they recover, they won't be out again. Marcao's return to the pitch isn't far away. However, he won't be available for tomorrow. We need to be patient due to their recurring injuries, and we'll see when we can have him back. He also needs to provide us with feedback. We want to approach everything carefully, so that when he returns, he can spend a lot of time with the team," he responded when asked about Marcao and Tanguy.

"We're taking Marcao's situation carefully so that when he returns, he can spend a lot of time with the team."

"I'm doing well, with the typical doubts that come with the transfer window closing, which is what I like the least, but overall, I'm fine. Once everything is settled, we can breathe for four months. I'm fine, I'm comfortable. We haven't changed much, and the ideas remain the same," he concluded regarding his personal situation.
