AGREEMENT WITH PAPU GÓMEZ TO TERMINATE HIS CONTRACT

Sevilla FC have reached an agreement with Alejandro ‘Papu’ Gómez to terminate his contract, which was due to expire on 30th June 2024.

The Argentine midfielder brings his time at the club to a close, scoring ten goals and assisting six in his 90 appearances since signing in January 2021.

Most of those goals came in LaLiga, with nine in 66 appearances, while he also scored in the derby in the Copa del Rey back in January 2022. He leaves the club with a UEFA Europa League winners' medal from last season, in which his playing time was affected by an ankle injury.
