Jesús Navas and Orjan Nyland will be the first of our players in international action for during the October break. The games take place on Thursday evening, which coincides with the National Day of Spain. The Spanish national side host Scotland at La Cartuja, kickoff at 20:45 CEST. At the same time, Norway face Cyprus.

During Friday's fixtures, Argentina play against Paraguay at home at 1:00 CEST; we wait to see whether Marcos Acuña and Lucas Ocampos will participate in the game. Later on that day, at 15:30 CEST, the Spanish U21s host Uzbekistan for a friendly in which Juanlu is likely to appear. En-Nesyri's Morocco team have a home friendly against the Ivory Coast at 19:00 CEST on Saturday and afterwards Gudelj's Serbia are in Euro 2024 qualifiers action against Hungary. That game kicks off at 20:45 CEST, 24 hours after Lukebakio travels to Austria with the Belgian side. The weekend finishes with a clash between Nyland's Norway and Navas's Spain, kick off in the Nordic country at 20:45 CEST on Sunday.

On Monday, Lukebakio's Belgium will be back in action, hosting Sweden in a Euro 2024 qualifier. Tuesday will then see several sides complete their duties for this international break: Juanlu will face Kazakhstan with Spain U21s in another Euro U21 2025 qualifier at 15:30 CEST, Gudelj's Serbia welcome Montenegro at 20:45 CEST and Morocco take on Liberia in a qualifier for the 2024 African Cup of Nations at 21:00 CEST. Our Argentinian contingent will then wrap up our participation in the October international break, playing in Peru at 04:00 CEST.

This period will be crucial for the season ahead, with our new head coach Diego Alonso aiming to hit the ground running by getting returning players up to speed with his methods as quickly as possible.
