The Sevilla FC players were back in training on Tuesday morning less than 24 hours before those still away with their national sides are back in the fold. Under the watchful eye of head coach Diego Alonso and his technical staff, Nyland, Jesús Navas and Sow took part in their second successive session since making a return from international duty on Monday. However there were no more returnees after Lukebakio was on the bench as Belgium-Sweden was suspended at half-time due to a terrorist attack in Brussels.
The Belgian will be the next to return to Sevilla in time for Wednesday evening’s session. Meanwhile, five other players still have to play their final game of the break. Juanlu will do so this evening for Spain U-21 against Kazakhstan, before Gudelj’s Serbia will host Montenegro and En-Nesyri goes up against Liberia with Morocco. Finally, Acuña and Ocampos are in the Argentina squad for their country’s trip to Peru, kicking off tomorrow morning.
