Jesús Galván, Sevilla Atlético coach, gave his take on his team's superb victory over Cádiz CF Mirandilla: "We put in a complete performance. From the first minute, we were too strong for the opponent in both defence and attack. We were able to break the deadlock at a key point in the game and then put the result beyond doubt just before half-time. At the start of the second period, Isaac produced a goal right out of the top-drawer and from that point on, the team cruised to the three points. Scoring five was fantastic, but it could have been a lot more."
"We won't let this get to our head. Last year we had some tough times so we'll enjoy this win but then refocus ahead of the next game. This team is extremely motivated, day to day and game to game. When you've worked as hard as we have these moments feel even more enjoyable. The team played the perfect game today, so congratulations to the players, but there's a long way to go to get to where we want to be," added Galván. After picking up 22 points from the first 10 games of the season, the coach stressed the need to maintain the strong form going forward: "If we win our next six games, we're guaranteed to stay up, and from there we can set our sights on bigger things. We have to keep our feet on the ground, focus on the present and get back to work tomorrow."
Furthermore, the coach highlighted the importance of the academy, relying on the progress made by Sevilla FC C to give him options from the bench: "I've got a great relationship with David Campaña and the rest of the coaches. If things went well, I wanted to have Íker and Rivera on the bench as they could cover us as right-sided centre-backs. Hopefully we can all help eachother. We're here to help the players develop and prepare them for the first team." Lastly, Galván thanked the fans for their backing: "Keep supporting us and we will give everything. If we have anything it's commitment to the cause. We're a united and driven group. I can't guarantee this sort of result every game but I can promise maximum effort."
