LUKEBAKIO Y GUDELJ SET TO FACE OFF IN EURO 2024 QUALIFYING

The Belgians head into the final round of qualifying matches having already accomplished their task, while Serbia still have it all to do

Dodi Lukebakio will come up against teammate Nemanja Gudelj as they are called up selected in the upcoming international break for Belgium and Serbia respectively. They meet in the final round of EURO 2024 qualifiers, with the former having already secured their ticket to Germany next summer. The match will take place next Wednesday at 20:45 CET at Estadio Rey Balduino in Brussels as Gudelj and his compatriots aim look to nail down their spot at the tournament.

Serbia will also face Bulgaria on Sunday 19th at 15:00 CET. Lukebakio's side will also play against Azerbaijan at 18.00 CET, again at home. Even if Montenegro beat Lithuania on the penultimate matchday, the Serbs would only need to overcome a Bulgarian side who are bottom of the group with just two points from six games played. Should Serbia slip up, Montenegro would also have to take all six points from their remaining two matches, both against Lithuania and away to current group leaders Hungary.
